Are you ready to sit the whole TOEFL test in one go?

Written by the Reach120 research teamReviewed
Readiness for the full sitting is a different question from readiness for any one section — the four run back to back for 1 h 23 min – 1 h 29 min, and stamina is the part single-section practice never tests. These are the questions worth answering before you book.

The figures

Listed time for the whole sitting
1 h 23 min – 1 h 29 min
Sections, in the order they run
Reading (~18–21 min router + 9 min module) → Listening (~18 min router + 7 or 11 min module) → Speaking (~8 min) → Writing (~23 min)
Question 1 the quiz asks
How well do you know the 2026 test format?
Question 2 the quiz asks
Have you sat a full four-section mock in one sitting?
Question 3 the quiz asks
When you practice, do you finish inside the listed time?
Question 4 the quiz asks
Do you know which of the four sections is your weakest?
Question 5 the quiz asks
Do you know the score the places you are applying to actually require?
Question 6 the quiz asks
How regular is your practice right now?
What the result is
One of four descriptions of how you have prepared — Still orienting, Practicing, not yet measuring, Measuring, not yet rehearsing, Rehearsing under real conditions — with a single next action. No score, no band, no percentage.

How these figures were arrived at

The listed times, item counts and raw-point maxima are read off the published 2026 blueprint table. Listed blueprint times, shown as estimates — ETS states the 2026 specification is subject to minor revision until launch. The questions are the subset of the quiz that bears on the whole sitting: four ask about preparation in general and apply to every section, and the rest attach where the answer is actual evidence about this one. This is a description of how you have prepared, not a prediction. Eight self-reported answers cannot estimate a TOEFL score, and this quiz does not try to — only ETS issues a TOEFL score.
